Book club
Do you love reading in English or in Italian even though they’re not your native languages? Would you like to improve your conversation skills in a fun and informal way?
My Book Club is about to launch and I’m looking for 10 booklovers who’d like to help me customise the service before it becomes available to everyone else. Every month we will read a book and then meet online to chat about it! Beta testers will join for free (you will only have to buy the books).
How can you apply to be a beta tester? You’ll need at least a B1/intermediate English or Italian level, so you can read and join a conversation; you’ll have to read one book each month and show up at the online meetings once a month, since they will not be recorded. (Please bear in mind the host is in Italy – London, UK +1 – so check your time zone to make sure you can make it live); you will be asked to take surveys to help me improve the service.

Conversation classes and Online Book Clubs
Have you been learning different languages but you freeze when you have to speak? Do you feel more confident in writing than in chatting? Are you planning a trip abroad but you’re afraid you won’t be able to communicate with the locals? Or maybe you simply want to chat in another language but you don’t know other people to talk to?
Hi, my name is Roberta and I’ve been working on developing some “totally chill” conversation classes, online lessons to help you practise and improve your language skills in an informal and stress-free way. You can choose between one-to-one or group lessons. After you sign up, I’ll send you a short test to understand your level of knowledge so I can match you with other students. The currently available languages are: English, Italian, Spanish.
Furthermore, once the beta testing stage of the Book Club is over, I will take new students too (psst: there are still a few spots left, if you want to be a beta tester and join for free! Sign up by clicking on the button in the previous section.)

Book Clubs
Improve your reading and speaking skills in a foreign language (English, Italian, Spanish). Read a book a month and meet with us online to chat about it.
Workshops
Occasional workshops on different topics related to linguistics. These are not connected to the other services and are open to anyone wishing to challenge themselves.
